APAC meet the producers & QUICK PITCH
Voice Talent attendees at the APA Conference may sign up for both of these sessions during registration when registering on or before February 7, but may only be placed in one session (registration for these sessions is closed after February 7).
If both are selected, priority will be given to Quick Pitch (formerly Speed Dating). If an attendee is selected in the Quick Pitch lottery, they will be removed automatically from the Meet the Producers list.
If after registering for APAC you do not receive a registration confirmation via email, please email apac@audiopub.org.
Quick pitch Info. & Criteria
Formerly known as Speed Dating, Quick Pitch gives Voice Talent members the opportunity to present their skills to Casting Directors and Producers in a live 3-4 minute virtual presentation. Only current APA members who are registered for APAC may apply.
The Quick Pitch lottery is open to APA members who have not participated in APA Speed Dating or Quick Pitch for the past 2 years. Interested narrators must be registered for APAC, select Quick Pitch during the registration process, register on the Erggo website, and then be selected by lottery following reviews of all clip(s) by producers.
This session has limited availability for Voice Talent, and registration for the lottery is a 3-step process:
Register for the conference by February 7.
Go to Erggo.US, create a profile for yourself, upload a clip, and follow the steps to activate your account.
On the Erggo site, navigate to Events and select APA-APAC25 Online Quick Pitch. Enter the Event Code from your conference confirmation email into the “enter event code” box, and click “GO” to be entered into the selection lottery.
Clips should be short and should highlight your best skills – include dialogue and/or accents if that’s what you do well, but don’t feel you MUST include those.
Clips must be submitted by February 7. If your clip is approved you will be entered into a lottery for available spots. There will be two Quick Pitch sessions (March 20 & April 8) offered online after the in-person APAC. Eligible samples will be evaluated and the final list of participants selected and contacted by February 24.
Meet the Producers Info. & Criteria
Meet the Producers is an opportunity for Voice Talent to meet with and be evaluated by Casting Directors and Producers. Meetings are held live via Zoom. Voice Talent should be prepared for 2-3 minutes of reading time and will get immediate feedback on their performance. Only current APA members who are registered for APAC may participate. Meet the Producers is open to Voice Talent on a first-requested first-served basis during the registration process, and all Producers and Casting Directors who wish to participate. We hope to accommodate all requests as we have for the past several years.
To be considered:
