JUDGES' SELECTIONS ROUND

DESCRIPTION
In this round, you will listen to each assigned audiobook in the APA Audible library and select seven exemplary titles to move forward to the Finalist Round. This judging category has TWO waves – the titles in this email, and another batch you’ll receive at the beginning of November.

Please remember to keep your Audies assignment confidential – although you may share your appointment as an Audies judge, please do not share any titles or your judging category.

INSTRUCTIONS
You are being tasked with selecting the titles that will become our Finalists! As such, your job is big. So please keep notes as you go and be uncompromising in your search for excellence.

You will receive your titles in two waves. After the second wave is shared we will also open up the score card online. You will be asked to select 7 titles that should move forward into the Finalist Round. Your will rank these seven titles in order from 1 - 7 where 1 is your favorite title.

Do not vary the listening speed in any way as it is important to assess each audio at recorded speed. Listen for the highest quality: a polished, professional narration coupled with a clean, clear technical production.

ACCESSING YOUR TITLES
All titles will be distributed to judges digitally. Most will be shared through Audible.com, but some (when not available on Audible) will be sent via dropbox.

When this round opens for listening in late September (September 18), this web page will be updated with a link to your category that will include your list of titles and Audible log in information. Please only listen to the titles listed on your category page below.

EVALUATION FORM
Click this link to log in to Open Water. Now that the second wave of titles are shared, you have access to your judging account in Open Water where all your titles are listed. You will be asked to rank your top 7 recommendations to move on to the Finalist Round.

DEADLINE to submit your rankings is January 10.
