Every year, APA honors the best titles in audio publishing at a gala dinner held in conjunction with APAC and BEA. Awards are bestowed in over 30 categories, including Achievement in Abridgement, Biography/Memoir, Business, Non-Fiction, Information/Educational, Fiction, Mystery, Package Design, Science Fiction and Audiobook of the Year. The 2009 Gala will be held in New York City, New York. Check back this Summer for more details!

Scott Brick, multi-award-winning audiobook narrator extraordinaire, L.A. native, and all-round talent hosted The Audies® awards for excellence in audiobooks on Friday, May 30, 2008, at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The Biltmore is the premier choice for celebrities, presidents and dignitaries for over 80 years, and has been the host of several grand award ceremonies including the National Academy of Motion Pictures Academy Award Ceremony in the the 1930s and '40s. It offers historic grandeur and modern convenience in the heart of exciting downtown Los Angeles.

The 2007 audies were held at The Rainbow Room, the crown jewel of Rockefeller Center, offering some of the best views in New York City. The stylish elegance was the perfect backdrop to enjoy the glamorous evening with the best of the best in the industry.
